Pilot

I created this blog because multiple people asked if I could keep them updated, however thats not entirely feasible so this is a place where everyone can read my thoughts and experiences. That is, if you're interested. You may be wondering what there is to be updated on. For those of you who don't know, I am in Pachuca, Mexico teaching english to children for the next 4 months. However I have not yet done much worth posting, as this is my second day here. But heres a little big about what happened my first day (yesterday.)

I started out the day late to the airport, but still had time to snap this picture of the sunrise. Its amazing how you can wake up one person and by the night you feel as if you are a completely different person.

This picture is slightly blurry due to the fact that theres this obnoxious window in the way. But this is above the mountains in Utah.

And here is a picture of our front yard in our apartment. Also, more obnoxious windows blocking it.

When we arrived at the airport, the principal of the elementary school (his name is Guillermo) picked us all up in his camioneta, and we started to drive to pachuca. Everything is obviously different here, especially mexico city. The mountains look like mosaics because of all the tiny colorful houses scattered across it.. We stopped at a gas station eventually to get some food and there happened to be a work site next door and when us American girls get out of the van, the men all stop their work and group up to stare at us. This has become pretty normal though since we are the only Americans in the city.
